I am known for mixing…. I love to try new flavors, colors and prints on clothes, eclectic tours and those out of the tour guide. And yes, the mix brings something new and I feel that it also favors the good feeling attached to each of its different parts. It is the mixture of a floral with all the delicacy, then the sobriety of some stripes and the simplicity of a single tone that can express the daily life of humanity, a mixture of sensations. And it is in this spirit that I present below some compositions and tips to put into practice in your place.
Do you want to mix coatings of different patterns?
Cling to a base color in the environment and the combination will be more pleasing to the eye. Here we have the plush with the comfort in the skin, the metal with the rigidity and coldness, the wood with the comfort and meeting with the nature. And colors have some graphite.
Is it your desire to mix textures?
Then it will raise one that will be the basis of most of the use in space and the second texture is on another furniture, or a carpet, or a curtain, that is, a detail in the environment. Or follow the previous model if the space can be more stripped.
When desire involves a specific color you can work with different shades of the same colors and change the textures giving the environment some movement. Down here we have the copper that refers to the brown and the wood and the basic cream color.
Customer likes prints so you can complement the environment with smooth and simple pieces, including the furniture and in this way highlight the print without tiring the spirit of the visitor. When your eyes are not busy with other spots in the environment the print can be enjoyed.
Bellow I got some wallpaper samples to show you how lovely they can be. It is a good way to add some texture to a room. And have you ever seen a patterned or textured environment and liked it? Let us know about the ins and outs of your experience.
